Rokusaburo Michiba is a Japanese chef and was the first Iron Chef Japanese in the original Iron Chef. He served in this position from the show's beginning in 1993 to his retirement on his 65th birthday on January 3, 1996. He was succeeded by Koumei Nakamura as Iron Chef Japanese.
